DOSA – ARCHAEOLOGICAL POLE
The insertion of the museum complex within the archaeological nature area of Sarcapos (SU) produces a stitching in the orography of the site, restoring the landscape balance partly compromised by the invasive presence of the two large water reservoirs. The closed and semi-hypogean nature of the museum, which relates to the theme of archaeological excavations and ancient monumental architecture in the area, is softened by the glass openings facing the river landscape and the excavation area. The riverfront thus allows for the direct extension between the spatial entity of the museum and its surroundings, with the large belvedere arranged toward the river park.
