[:it]The creation of jewelry is an area of interest that involves the work of the architectural firm because of certain peculiarities that require its high-profile design: being a borderland between art and design, between quality craftsmanship and production technology, the interest in the materials used in the field of jewelry for their characteristics of ductility and expressive qualities, not least the relationship between the importance of design and the minute scale that requires the greatest attention to detail.

The Turin-based architects’ studio has designed a number of jewelry pieces over the past few years, intended as creative works that follow the design logic of the unique object. Not objects intended for serial production, but individual artifacts that express the creative spirit of the author and that are to be ‘carved’ on the client who will wear it on himself.

Each piece of jewelry develops a theme, to become an expression of the subject wearing it; it is an object to be shown in its uniqueness, it is an object designed to last and to pass on its expressive value over time, it is an object with symbolic and emotional value, as well as an investment for the future.

Comoglio Architetti studio’s jewelry is characterized by linear forms, segments and broken lines that intersect to create compositions with increasing dynamic tension; intertwining splinters, arrows and scales. The juxtaposition of yellow and white gold, of polished and sandblasted finish, of flat parts and subtle reliefs, enhances the aspects of complementarity in a reference of duality.
