SERMIG – ENTRANCE CHAPEL

The exterior arrangement project for the entrance to the Ser.Mi.G chapel, located in the uncovered courtyard of the former Military Arsenal, is configured as an intervention of limited dimensions, which intends to generate a harmonious space, a symbol of welcoming and approaching the contemplation of the “sacred.” Horizontal planes of different form, function and material (glass, reinforced concrete, water) fit inside the courtyard integrating with ornamental greenery. A steel and glass canopy shelters the access to the church not interrupting the view to the sky thanks to its transparency, while on the ground a water path and the presence of greenery invite peace and recollection.
