The possible residential development in a narrow urban void caused by the removal of a parking yard, suggested to imagine an aggregation of residential units not aligned along the road, but enbedded in the inner wedge-shaped portion of the site, not directly accessible by car. The peculiarity of the site consists in the lack of a front road, which forces to turn the facades of new residential blocks to the neighboring private properties. The need to carefully avoid the visual introspection towards the neighbors, forced to shape the facades with unusual character for the housing type, with thin windows placed transversely to the envelope, while the coating is realized by a large screen of white blades oriented diagonally in order to hide the glass surfaces which can not lean frontally.
