Pavilion Oceania 19, a two storey building included in the UN Campus near River Po, manifested several critical issues in the space functionality of the whole pavilion: absence of a main hall and reception, wrong orientation and misreading of inner paths, lack of relashionship between inside and outside. The enclosed core have been liberated while ground and first floor are put in communication, to realize a large representative hall in the middle of the building: this open space could be suited for meetings and exhibitions, but it is also the joint toward offices and toward the upper floor with the wooden stairs. In the same way, central zone at first floor defines the connective space and relax area. Materic finishes as wood covering identify the fuctions along the perimeter of the pavilion.
