BAR UN ITC-ILO

About This Project

The bar is located at the ground floor of Pavilion F, it permorms an essencial role as a meeting point and as the main restaurant room in the UN Campus area along the river Po. Bar is configured as a large open space, but has to satisfy different needs: breakfast tables, dining tables, coffee break and lounge area, DJ set with a feasible dancing floor. Interior aspect is defined by planes, matching materials and colors by juxtaposition between wide surfaces. Flooring is articulated as a dichotomy between the glossy white area and the wood insertions along the perimeter and in the middle portion. The same dichotomy could be found at the ceiling, between the white plasterboard surface and the wooden laths sequences.
