CHB HOUSE

The renovation of the domestic space enhances the original aspects of the dwelling, such as the wooden floors, shaped chiambranes and doors with frosted glazing, which preserve the authentic character of the house from its origins, while the new functional requirements help to define a dynamic and modern domestic environment. The living room and study space present the ‘warm’ and ‘reflective’ aspect that identifies the home, which in its entirety seeks a ‘measured’ sense of spatiality, favoring integrated wall solutions, such as wall niches, closed cabinets and equipped shelving, over the insertion of individual furnishings, in favor of a greater visual order that eschews a haphazard approach of additions and juxtapositions. Exceptions are the insertions of some object trouvés whose task is to give a more ‘living’ and personal character to domestic spaces.
