CHILDREN’S HOME – SANT’ANNA
The exterior rearrangement intervention involves an appurtenant area used both as a playground area for the parish preschool and as an alternative space to the church where children can be received during services. The physical space is reshaped, the existing orography is redefined in its entirety by intervening both on ground slopes and by surfaces through the combination of two types of floor coloring. The rubber covering, in giving continuity to the garden and guaranteeing the safety of garden enjoyment, generates an artificial landscape, while the existing trees interact with the new landforms, emerging from the ground as natural elements immersed in the ‘liquid’ pavement that envelops and encompasses them without interruption.
