The project intends to give back its identity to the square, that was gradually lost because this space appears absorbed by vehicular traffic and mainly used as a parking. The design proposal outlines an elevated slab in wooden composite plank, to mark a physical-perceptual and chromatic separation from the street level. Doing so we can create a “calm” space protected from the road, intended for pedestrians. The raised slab is folded on the west side just like a paper sheet, becoming a large sitting, called “l’parlament” (the parliament), that hides the parking behind.
